This episode happened thanks to an opportunity to interview Christar & Gerard Damino jr and Robin Leonardi. Chrystar and Gerard are the children of Gerard Damiano, director of Deep Throat, probably the most famous adult film ever. Robin Leonardi is an entrepreneur and free speech activist, daughter of Adult Film icon Gloria Leonard, also a trailblazer and activist.
Deep Throat’s 50th Anniversary (with 4k restoration) will return to theater showings with in-person filmmaker Q&A’s.
